Forget about the last meeting between Pittsburgh and NE. Also forget about last week. A team's performance during the previous week tells you very little about how it will perform this week.
The way I see it, there are only 2 positions, quarterback and placekicker, where New England beats Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has a better running game, better O-line, better D-line (especially since Seymour is hurt), better linebackers, and I'd say the D-backfields are even. Plus Pittsburgh is at home and getting points.
I can't see a good reason why I should go against Pittsburgh. Please don't tell me about history. It's meaningless. Fine, the Pats won 2 SuperBowls. But it's not like they dominated. I think it's safe to say that when a team wins a game with a last second field goal, that either team could've won the game. Well, both the Pats wins came on last second field goals. Plus, they had some unbelievable good luck against the Raiders the first time. My point is: throw all that out the window. Look at these 2 teams, and give me a rational, logical reason why the Pats will win.
